International training and coaching provider Adventures with Agile (AWA) and the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) have announced the first-ever ICAgile-accredited training from its Enterprise Coaching track to be offered in Oslo, Norway this Autumn. This is also the first time that the advanced ICAgile Certified Professional in Coaching Agile Transitions (ICP-CAT) certification will be offered in the Scandinavian region.
Adventures with Agile’s course “Coaching for Enterprise Agility” provides participants with an immersive and interactive opportunity to explore co-creating change with large groups of people across the entire enterprise, as well as providing participants with the opportunity to earn the advanced ICP-CAT certification.
“In Norway, the concept of Agile Coaching is starting to gain pace. Several large organisations in private and public sector are acquiring Agile Coaches both at team and enterprise level. The increasing curiosity around Agile Coaching has been spurred on by a meet up series arranged by the Norwegian Agile community, Smidigkonferansen.” said John Inge Hervik, AWA’s representative in Oslo.
Having launched their ICP-ACC course in Oslo earlier this year, Agile Coaches attending courses in Agile Team Coaching, provided by Adventures with Agile, have reported feeling more confident and capable in their roles. They also see more clearly the benefits of taking their learning further, with some wanting to expand their capabilities and learning into how to benefit most from Agile Coaching on the enterprise level. Therefore bringing the Coaching for Enterprise Agility course to Oslo was a natural next step for AWA.
AWA’s global reach has grown significantly over the last 12 months, with several new cities joining its comprehensive training schedule, including important tech and finance hubs such as Berlin, Lisbon, Chicago and Dallas.
“Due to the growing demand from both coaches and senior leaders for our ICAgile-accredited enterprise classes in cities across the world we are seeing more companies starting to take the coaching approach to enterprise-wide agility more seriously” – said Simon Powers, AWA’s Founder and CEO.
“Imposing practices and tools on people is no longer an option as the traditional consultant-led approach is not sustainable. These courses equip our customers with the critical skills, techniques and understanding to help their companies continue to meet today’s challenges – and prepare for tomorrow’s.”
ICAgile is also seeing growing demand for the Enterprise Coaching track around the world as more and more agile transformations are occurring and Agile Team Coaches express interest in expanding their learning journey to the enterprise level.
“AWA has consistently provided high-quality learning experiences for ICAgile’s learner community since we’ve known them. We are thrilled that AWA continues to expand their presence globally with these incredibly rich and important programs” – said Shannon Ewan, ICAgile Managing Director.
Experienced Agile Coaches, Change Agents and Leaders working across the enterprise are invited to take part in Oslo’s first-ever Coaching for Enterprise Agility course on the 30th October and 1st November, where they will receive world-class training on helping whole organisations overcome the challenges they face when embracing the agility mindset.
