Enterprise Agile Coaching in Thailand webinar

with Simon Powers

About this webinar

Here’s a summary of what we covered:

  • A brief introduction to Simon Powers (Adventures with Agile), MAQE (Andreas Holmer) & SEAC (Richard Gilman)
  • Why MAQE & SEAC are supporting the Enterprise Agile Coach Bootcamp in Thailand (a recent Bangkok Post article rated Thailand 9th out of 9 Asia-Pacific countries for Agility)
  • Simon talks about how AWA help make working life better and how Agility can help solve core business problems
  • We explore where Thailand is in terms of Agility right now (very similar to the UK a few years back, with a tendency to focus on processes). A deeper mindset shift is needed
  • Simon explains that Enterprise Agility is a way of optimising the whole organisation, instead of just one team, using a people-first approach
  • A summary of what is included in our Enterprise Agile Coach Bootcamp, how it was developed and why it works (there’s no PowerPoint and no exam!)
  • A simple model for what is needed for organisational change
  • Q&A from SEAC, MAQE and participants
  • Wrap-up, booking details and discount code

He has over 20 years’ experience helping very large organisations to thrive in the market and become better places to work. He partners with the board of directors or senior managers to transform the way that they see themselves, each other, and their organisations. The results are better organisational design, better processes, more engaged staff, and an organisation that is customer-focused and more successful. Simon is also an authorised trainer for ICAgile and a member of the ICAgile Expert – Enterprise Agile Coaching certification committee, and was one of the first people in the world to hold the ICAgile Expert in Enterprise Coaching certificate. He takes what he learns from his practice and work with others to create the best coaching training materials possible. The mission is to upgrade humanity and make better places to work and live.

Andreas Holmer

Andreas Holmer

Andreas is a designer by trade and also a bit of a writer, with his Work Matters newsletter.

He is Co-Founder and CEO of MAQE Bangkok, a digital consulting firm on a mission to (literally) change how the world works. MAQE believe that:

  • Happy people do good work and that if you get culture and employee engagement right, everything else will follow.
  • Co-creation leads to superior results and that innovation can only really happen when diverse groups collaborate.
  • Ideas are a multiple of execution (Sivers) and that if you cannot do both, you’ll never be able to deliver real value.
  • What got you here won’t get you there (Goldsmith) and that adaptation is key to successful product development.
