Opportunity to work with AWA as a Business Development Executive

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who lives in, or commutable distance from Chicago to help change the way people work across the United States.

You would be the first employee in the US that is based in Chicago. You will work alongside our US Based Trainer / Coach as well as our global team to continue building our reputation, client and partner relationships, and helping to run events.

As well as Business Development, Sales, and Marketing, your role will be to help with event management, and some admin. At AWA we don’t just stick to our roles, we work as a team and pride ourselves on being able to work together on whatever is needed. You will be part of, and supported by, a global team. We care about each other and our mission.

We are expanding the range of our training courses, the number of classes we run, and the depth of our services to clients. You will help lead this global expansion in North America.

  • Working with a global team to build AWA in the US

  • Building a local community
  • Event planning, booking and support
  • Supporting coaches and trainers


  • Course and Community Management: plan and market local training courses; arrange and attend our community events and other community meetups
  • Relationships: Maintain relationships with community, partners and trainers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and develop the prospect list through daily canvassing and identify new business leads
  • Introduce: Build relationships with new clients over the phone, networking and social selling
  • Generate sales: Use a coaching approach to sales, client account management, and potential customer networks, to identify new business, and cross selling opportunities.
  • Communication: Ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion and communicate client needs and demands to the rest of the team
  • Data: Maintain accurate records of client data
  • Networking: Represent AWA at conferences and community events and bring back leads to follow and develop relationships
  • Logistics: Own part of the training operations function to ensure our national training runs smoothly, booking rooms, caterers, and answering queries from attendees.
