We are proud to present this interactive workshop with Marian Way, an internationally-recognised expert in and trainer of Clean Language, this November in London.
An interactive workshop designed to help you to identify drama and contempt in yourself and in others. Once identified, Marian will provide tools to help you to understand and unpack your own dramas and to move from unnecessary conflict, towards curiosity, collaboration and action.
During the session you will:
Unpack your own drama and recognise what role(s) you are taking on the Drama Triangle.
Explore some of the costs and benefits of drama.
Learn about different brain states and how to recognise when you – and others – are in a less productive state, and ways you can move to a more productive brain state.
Discover how to use Clean Language questions to uncover the hidden architecture of your drama states and of your desired outcomes.
Learn how to unpack your dramas into evidence, inference and impact and so use this as the basis for giving yourself – and others – feedback.
Explore how to use a ‘Clean Set Up’ to clarify what you want when you’re with others – so reducing the possibility of drama occurring in the first place.
Consider how you will implement your insights and learnings in your own context
ABOUT MARIAN WAY
An internationally-recognised expert in and trainer of Clean Language, Marian is the author / co-author of three books on the subject: Clean Approaches for Coaches, Insights in Space and So you want to be … #DramaFree. A former maths teacher, Marian went on to become a leading innovator within the Weight Watchers organisation, including co-developing the “points” strategy, a local idea that went on to become a global innovation. When she came across Clean Language, she left Weight Watchers and started her own company, before teaming up with Caitlin Walker, the developer of Systemic Modelling, a way of using Clean Language to help groups to become self-organising systems and high-performing teams. The pair now jointly own and run Clean Learning and Training Attention CIC, leading organisations in clean applications for corporate, educational and community development. Marian now divides her time between training, writing and developing new training courses and materials that allow this dynamic, respectful and incredibly powerful way of working to be accessed by a wider audience. Over the last few years, Clean Language and Systemic Modelling have come to the notice of Agile Coaches who have recognised that it gives coaches practical methods and tools for uncovering mental models, installing an agile mindset and reducing conflict across organisations.
