Simon Powers
AWA Founder & CEO

Simon has over 20 years of experience in supporting organisations in their growth and is committed to making working life better. Simon is a member of the ICAgile Expert – Enterprise Agile Coaching certification committee and he also teaches Systems Coaching and Thinking and Enterprise Agile Bootcamps. He was awarded Most Popular Agile Conference Speaker in the 2016 Agile Awards.
Simon is the author of Change. A Practitioner’s Guide to Enterprise Agile Coaching.

Gemma is an Agile Coach and Visual Facilitator, with experience leading an enterprise agile transformation for a Fortune 500 company. She works with organisations to help them uncover their super-powers and is making working life better.
Gemma brings energy and colour to everything she does and is highly skilled in creating and holding memorable workshops and coaching sessions that get people sharing understanding, thinking creatively and working together effectively. She has a wealth of experience across multiple sectors including helping the Platform and Product Leadership team at a large bank to form a cohesive Digital Strategy and Roadmap as well as coaching Agile Transformation Leaders at a large telecoms organisation to align on purpose and approach. Gemma’s approach is informed by a deep understanding of systems thinking, coaching, visual thinking and agile to create inclusive spaces where teams and individuals can map, co-create, innovate and problem-solve.

John Inge Hervik
Head of Training at AWA Norge

John Inge is an Enterprise Agile Coach with more than 15 years of experience in agile working methods and organisations. He started as a developer with an interest in methodology in architectural work, and has taken further education in psychology and professional coaching (certified at PCC level from the ICF). He now works as a mentor and coach for managers, teams, agile coaches, product owners and more.
John Inge works systemically with all his clients to help them realise their own potential through coaching, mentoring and leadership development. In addition to holding training courses and workshops. John Inge leads AWA Norway’s coaching and coursework.
